You didn't post your address. But your Instagram basically did. 📍

OSINT can map your home, routine, and identity using only public info, no hacking needed.
Know the attack before it reaches you. 👇

You post a selfie at home. Clean photo. No address visible. Looks safe, right?
Wrong.

Step 1: EXIF Data.
Your phone embeds GPS coordinates inside the image file. If Instagram doesn't strip it and sometimes it doesn't, the latitude and longitude of your bedroom is right there in the metadata.

Step 2: Background OSINT.
That coffee shop in the background? That temple visible from your window? Reverse image search + Google Street View. I can cross-reference that in under 5 minutes.

Step 3: Check-ins and Tags.
You tagged your gym. Your school. Your "local chai spot." Three data points. That's enough to map your daily routine and pinpoint your neighbourhood.

Step 4: Account Cross-Referencing.
Your Instagram links to LinkedIn. LinkedIn has your company. Your company website lists your city and department. One more search and now I have a name, face, employer, and area code.

That's it. No hacking. No exploits. Just public data.
