English Learnt Right wouldn't be so special if not for its students. I am eternally grateful for ALL of you wonderful people - the ones who trusted me with their kids, with their wives and their loved ones. My dear dear students,
who make me the teacher, the trainer and the coach that I AM today 💓
If not for your grit, zeal and dedication to learn the language and letting me guide you through the path - we wouldn't be here ✨
Every time you learn an idiom, a phrase or a new fancy word - my heart swells with pride 🧡 On this journey, I will always be the loudest cheerleader in the room, rooting for you till the very end, pinky promise 😋
If you have read till here then this is your takeaway. Dreams come true only if you continue taking those baby steps and do not stop. Resting is allowed but ending just because of your fears is a crime. Instead, rejuvenate and reinvent. BELIEVE in yourself because the world any way won't if YOU DON'T.
There will be times when it hurts when everything under the sun will go wrong. When you want to hide your face under the blanket and hope the earth swallows you. That's the time when you need to hold yourself close, be kinder, cradle your heart with love, and empathy and remind yourself how far you have come and give yourself the validation which you will never get from the world.
You got this, you really really got this 💁♀️

It would be unfair if I only toot my own horn and not thank my support system, my oxygen cylinders and my very own tribe without whom this wouldn't be possible.
Firstly, Salma Khan for teaching me the ABC of entrepreneurship and not letting me give up EVERY night I came to her crying my heart out. For answering a billion voice notes and being my rock always 💓 Btw, if you are wondering who created my FB page ( where we are a family of 500 + now) and the very first poster, making sure it's 'pink plus cute' then stop because it's HER 💓
Next, Tasso 💓 my teacher bestie who taught me why wearing confidence and thinking practically is so necessary and helping me deal with all my student's and language problems 💓 She is someone I look up to and wouldn't function without - a magnificent teacher and my rainbow - one can only be grateful for ✨
Coming to Kaisy jaan, a brilliant IELTS trainer but an even more brilliant human being. I learn from her every DAY. Every communication and interaction is enlightening. She is the eldest sister I never had, who took me under her wings and allowed me to be there 💓
Not to forget my blood sisters 😛 who made me so famous in their school and college. If they hadn't reshared and liked my posts every time I tortured them in the DMs I wouldn't be here. PS - I lau you both 💓
The list of people is endless because at every turn, at every crossroad and every time I was in a fix or hit the rock bottom - there was someone who pulled me up and aided me to continue my journey. I should mention my sister besties (made a new word 😛) here, although long distance made us fall apart we kept running into each other after every blow and never had I gone to them with a tornado and they have failed to calm it down. My people always pulled me out of the storm.
I can't mention everyone here but I love my family, cousins and my entire crazy girl gang ( you guys know who you are ) for standing with me like a team and reminding me that I have it in me to do what it takes ✨

2 years ago an extremely terrified, naive and sceptical girl took a path with a faint hope that it would help her create something that would be fruitful to people.
Never in her wildest dream had she thought that it would lead to the birth of her baby and now her very own private space - English Learnt Right.
After quitting my teaching job during the pandemic, the only way out was teaching online but again with multiple challenges - like learning to create online material, using online tools like zoom, kami and most of all connecting, communicating and creating a rapport with your students through a single screen 😯
Was that even a possibility?
But nothing is 'not' figureoutable. After tackling curve ball after curve ball and handling the hurdles that came with online teaching - there I was - Coach Nihad - whom students loved, understood and most of all learnt from 💓
That Nihad never knew that she would be able to touch so many lives, teach hundreds of students and most of all grow to become an accomplished language trainer - whom the world would trust and students would adore.
From starting spoken English classes with a couple of students, a broken laptop and a crazy charger who could betray you at ANY moment to now teaching multiple IELTS batches - the journey has been incredibly nourishing and heart-warming ✨
But it would be unfair if I would only toot my own horn and not thank my support system, my oxygen cylinders and my very own tribe without whom this wouldn't be possible.

Every IELTS student knows that vocabulary is important when attempting to get a high band score, but do they really understand how useful it is to know lots of synonyms? In fact, learning synonyms is a great way to improve all areas of your IELTS skill.
What are Synonyms?
A synonym is a word that has the same or nearly the same meaning as another word. Because English is a language with such a huge vocabulary (some people say nearly a million!) there are naturally many synonyms. These add colour to the language and reduce the need for repetition.

Sanaa, the working super mom as I call her, came to me to enhance her speaking skills before her preparation for IELTS.
Although she was an intermediate student with quite amazing vocabulary, something that held her back was the fear of making mistakes. I felt her major problem was a lack of confidence and belief in herself.
As we started the classes, I realised she was such a chatterbox, a person who genuinely likes to speak so that's how I designed her classes. I also noticed that she was quite an aware and informed learner so I made sure I gave her plenty of opportunities to speak. I personalised her sessions and let her share her personal experiences, her thoughts about certain issues and her opinions about the world.
As we continued, I saw a tremendous improvement and the ability to speak for a longer duration. She not only enjoyed the sessions but also attempted difficult vocabulary and phrases successfully.
