Honored to be selected as an 'Emerging Young Leader' in the 40 under 40 Leaders Initiative by All India Muslim Development Council.
I've come across many 'recognition programs' but never applied to any. It was the same with this one. However, many months ago, one of my well-wishers from Hyderabad, Abdul Quddus sb, an educationist, nominated me in the 40 under 40 Leaders Initiative. I thought it would be no more than an award function. However, to my surprise, it turned out to be something far greater than that.
This initiative aimed to gather 40 exceptional individuals under the age of 40 from across the country who are already working for the betterment of the nation through their respective fields and then collectively work on various projects to uplift the community and the nation.
It took almost a year for team AIMDC to complete the rigorous screening and evaluation process and selecting 40 leaders from 950 applicants. Finalists went through numerous testing rounds, written submissions, debates, discussions, character-based evaluations and more.
Although I lack in knowledge and character deeply, it's all by the grace of Allah that I am paired with exceptional and inspirational individuals to work collectively for our beloved country.
I congratulate all the 40 selected leaders and the finalists as well and pray that Allah gives us the strength to work with dedication and sincerity for the upliftment of our fellow citizens and that he accepts our efforts!
May Allah accept the efforts by Mohammad Imtiyaz Sb, Gen. Sec., AIMDC and the entire team!
