Indian Air Force replied to Pak PM Nawaz Sharif when he said that Ravina Tondon is my favourite actress in bollywood.

बता दें कि 26 जुलाई 1999 ही वह दिन था, जब भारत का 'ऑपरेशन विजय' सफल हुआ और भारत तीन महीने की लंबी लड़ाई के बाद विजयी हुआ था। उबड़-खाबड़ इलाकों और खतरनाक ऊँचाइयों पर हुए इस युद्ध में भारत ने पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों को कारगिल में कब्जे वाली चोटियों से खदेड़ डाला था।

जागरण की एक रिपोर्ट बताती है कि जब भारत पाकिस्तान कारगिल युद्ध अपने चरम पर था और भारत जीत की ओर आगे बढ़ रहा था। उसी दौरान एक भारतीय सैनिक शहीद हुआ और जब बाकी सैनिक उसके शव को वापस लाने के लिए गए, तो पाकिस्तानी फौजियों ने यह कहकर उन्हें ताना मारा, 'अपने मरे हुए आदमी को ले लो और हमें माधुरी और रवीना दे दो।' कहा जाता है कि इसी ताने के जवाब में भारतीय सैनिकों ने उन्हें यह संदेश दिया था।
