Under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and implemented by EDII, Ahmedabad, an Orientation Programme was conducted on 18 August 2026 at SPSS Govt. Degree City College, Gangolihat, Pithoragarh.

The session saw 42 students participating, with 40 students also taking part in the General Entrepreneurship (GE) Test. The programme encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship, recognise opportunities, and develop an entrepreneurial mindset as they take their next steps towards a future driven by innovation and self-reliance.

At Government Degree College, Nandanagar, Ghat, Chamoli, entrepreneurship took centre stage as 147 students came together for an Orientation Programme on 12 August 2026.

The session, conducted under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and implemented by EDII, Ahmedabad, introduced students to the possibilities of entrepreneurship and encouraged them to look at ideas, opportunities, and challenges from an entrepreneurial perspective. Notably, all 147 students also participated in the General Entrepreneurship (GE) Test, making it a highly engaging session.

From awareness to engagement, DUY continues to create spaces where students can discover their entrepreneurial potential and take their first steps towards becoming future innovators and changemakers.

55 students participated in the Orientation Programme at Radhey Hari Government PG College, Kashipur Under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and implemented by EDII, Ahmedabad, the orientation programme provided students with an opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, understand entrepreneurial possibilities, and develop a mindset focused on innovation and opportunity.

With every orientation, DUY continues to bring entrepreneurial awareness closer to students across Uttarakhand, inspiring young minds to think creatively, identify opportunities, and take confident steps towards building their future.

Orientation Programme at Government Degree College, Thalisain, Pauri Garhwal 🚀

Under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and implemented by EDII, Ahmedabad, another orientation programme was conducted at Government Degree College, Thalisain, Pauri Garhwal. A total of 56 students from the B.A. and B.Sc. programmes participated in the session, followed by the successful completion of the post-orientation test by all participating students.

Despite heavy rainfall, the students attended the programme with great enthusiasm and dedication. The strong support of the Nodal Officer, Principal, and faculty members ensured the smooth conduct of the programme, with their efforts helping students reach the venue and participate wholeheartedly.

The Day 1 journey at the Almora Bootcamp began with the arrival and reporting of students yesterday evening, marking the start of another exciting chapter in their entrepreneurial learning journey.

Under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and implemented by EDII, Ahmedabad, students are set to begin an immersive experience filled with learning, collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurial development. Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand and implemented by EDII, conducted an Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme at Pt. LMS Campus, Rishikesh, Dehradun, on 7 August 2026.

The session brought together 72 students, with 55 students participating in the GE Test. The programme encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship, identify opportunities and develop an entrepreneurial mindset to take their ideas forward.
