Sunrise academy Management Society College of Pharmacy organized a Sexual Harrasment Awareness Seminar with today’s guest speaker Ms. Ravina Kumari, a BA LLB graduate from Siddhartha Law College, Dehradun, currently practicing at the District Court, Dehradun under the guidance of Advocate Alok Ghildhiyal.
Through this session, she guided students on recognizing inappropriate behavior, understanding legal rights, and knowing the correct steps to take in such situations. The seminar aimed to create awareness, encourage open discussion, and empower individuals to ensure a safe and respectful environment.

Our Sunrise Academy Management Society College of Pharmacy organized an Anti-Discrimination Awareness Seminar featuring Ms. Arpita Ghosh, a Software Developer at DRDO, working on advanced software solutions using latest defence technologies in a secure, mission-critical environment
She spoke about the importance of equality and spread awareness against discrimination based on gender, race, caste, and appearance, encouraging students to promote inclusivity and respect in society.

Our college successfully organized a seminar on Gender Sensitisation, where Mr. Ujjwal Dimri delivered an insightful session. The seminar focused on understanding gender roles and stereotypes, highlighting how they impact individuals and society. Important topics such as gender equality, changing roles, and the role of the legal system in promoting justice and inclusivity were also discussed. The session encouraged awareness, respect, and equality among students, making it a meaningful and enlightening experience for all.

A one-day workshop on the Implementation of AEBAS was successfully held on 17 December 2025 at Shri Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education and Science, Dehradun. The event was a proud moment for our institution as our respected College Principal Mrs. Apeksha Rawat and Mr. Kamal Rawat were felicitated by Mr. J. H. Chaudhary, Vice President of PCI, and Mr. Vibhu Sahni, PCI Member and MP Zone Head. The workshop featured an informative and well-conducted technical session by the PCI IT Department, Delhi, focusing on the practical implementation of the Aadhaar-based biometric attendance system (AEBAS) in PCI-approved colleges. It was a highly insightful and enriching experience for all participants. 🌟

Today our Sunrise Academy Management Society College of Pharmacy students visited the Government Veterinary Hospital, Raipur Chowk, Dehradun, where Dr. Shailendra Vashisht guided them and shared valuable knowledge on the importance of correct dosing in humans and animals. The visit was informative and educational, helping students understand responsible medication practices and animal healthcare.

Our college successfully organized a webinar on “Quality Control of Herbal Crude Drugs – A Practical Approach.”
We were honored to have Dr. Bhuwan Chandra Joshi ( Associate Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan University , Pokhra Pauri )as the Chief Guest, who delivered an insightful presentation on key aspects of herbal drug quality assurance.

The session covered important topics including adulteration of crude drugs, admixture, and biological as well as chemical evaluation of crude drugs, highlighting practical methods and real-world challenges in herbal drug standardization.

The webinar was highly informative and beneficial for students and faculty, enhancing understanding of quality control practices in herbal medicine.
