Sunshine, smiles, and splashes of yellow made the L.KG. Summer Fun Day truly unforgettable! β˜€οΈπŸ‹πŸ’›

To celebrate the vibrant spirit of summer, our little learners enthusiastically participated in a joyful Summer Fun Day on 8th May, filled with exciting hands-on activities, laughter, and learning.

Dressed in bright and cheerful summer outfits, the children lit up the campus during the Yellow Colour Day celebration. Classrooms sparkled with beautiful shades of yellow, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere as the tiny tots explored and identified different, yellow-coloured objects around them.

The most refreshing highlight of the day was the Lemonade Making Activity! πŸ‹πŸ₯€ Guided by their teachers, the children eagerly mixed lemon juice, sugar, and water while learning the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Through this fun-filled activity, they discovered the joy of preparing a healthy summer drink while enhancing their sensory and practical learning skills.

The celebration beautifully encouraged social interaction, observation skills, creativity, confidence, and fine motor development β€” all through joyful experiential learning.

The happiness, excitement, and radiant smiles of our little stars made the day extra special and memorable for everyone! 🌼✨

A school trip to the Jaunsar region with Grade 6 students turned out to be a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and cultural exposure. The adventure began with a trek to Tiger Top. For many students, this was their first real trekking experience. The trail, lined with tall pine and deodar trees, filled them with excitement and curiosity. Along the way, they learned about mountain flora, the importance of preserving forests, and basic trekking discipline. Reaching the top was a proud momentβ€”students cheered, clicked pictures, and admired the vast landscape stretching before them.

The visit to a nearby Jaunsari village gave students a glimpse into a lifestyle very different from their own. They observed traditional wooden houses, unique architecture, and simple yet sustainable living practices. Interacting with villagers helped them understand local customs, attire, and daily routines. Food became another exciting part of the journey. The students got to taste authentic Jaunsari cuisine.

A visit to the sacred Mahasu Devta Temple introduced students to the spiritual beliefs of the region. Teachers explained the significance of Mahasu Devta and the temple’s role in the community.

The educational aspect of the trip was further enriched with a stop at the Ashokan Rock Edict. Here, students connected their history lessons to a real-life monument. Seeing Emperor Ashoka’s inscriptions in Brahmi script sparked curiosity and discussion about ancient India, governance, and moral values.

Overall, the Jaunsar trip was more than just an excursionβ€”it was a holistic learning experience. It combined adventure, cultural understanding, historical awareness, and personal growth, leaving students with memories and lessons that will stay with them for years to come.
