DBUU Smart Innovation Challenge 2026 – Road to SIH 2026: Innovate. Build. Solve. was successfully organized by the School of Engineering & Computing, Department of Computer Science Engineering & Computer Application, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University.

The hackathon provided students with a platform to identify real-world challenges and develop innovative, practical, and technology-driven solutions through teamwork, design thinking, prototyping, and pitching.

With guidance from faculty members and mentors, participants showcased their creativity, technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurial mindset, strengthening their readiness for Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026.

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University successfully organized an Expert Talk on “Empowering Innovation and Startup Ecosystem in HEIs: Key Frameworks, Initiatives & Schemes of MoE’s Innovation Cell & AICTE”, under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The session highlighted key frameworks and initiatives such as IIC, NISP, Smart India Hackathon, IPR, incubation, and entrepreneurship support.

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) successfully organized an Online Expert Talk on “Mentoring the Next Generation of Tech Founders by Lean Startup & MVP Bootcamp” on 18 August 2026, by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering & Computing, under IIC.
