whose inspiring words left a lasting impact on all present.

The programme was beautifully organized by the current students of the Department of Physical Education, celebrating the journey of their seniors and wishing them the very best for the road ahead.

A day of nostalgia, celebration, and inspiration – this farewell will be remembered always.

Intramural Opening Ceremony 2024-25 Session

The Intramural Opening Ceremony for the 2024-25 session was held at Prabhat Kumar College, Contai, on 30/11/24. The ceremony marked the beginning of the intramural sports events for the new academic session.

The ceremony was inaugurated by our chief guest Principal of Prabhat Kumar College, Contai, Prof. Amit Kumar Dey, in the presence of Special Guests Dr. Pradipta Panchadhyayee IQAC Coordinator of Prabhat Kumar College, Contai, Dr. Maitryeyee Jana TCS of Prabhat Kumar College, Contai Coordinator, and Dr. Multan Khan, professor of the Department of Physical Education, Panskura Banamali College.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of all four houses: Badal, Dinesh, Subhas, and Vinaya. The intramural sports events aim to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the declaration of the intramural sports events open.

Welcome Batch 2024-25 PEDG

Today, we celebrated Teachers' Day in the Department of Physical Education, and it was a memorable event. The students organized a wonderful program to honor their teachers.

The day began with a warm welcome by the students, followed by a speech by our Principal, Dr. Amit Kumar Dey. He emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping young minds and appreciated our dedication and hard work.

Next, the students felicitated the teachers with bouquets, gifts, and heartfelt messages. It was touching to see them express their gratitude in such a thoughtful manner.

The cultural program that followed was impressive, with students showcasing their talents in music and dance.

After the cultural program, department alumni students had organized a quiz contest. It was wonderful to see everyone laughing and having a great time.

The program concluded with refreshments and cake cutting. Our H.O.D, Dr. Madhu Sudan Hazra, thanked the students for their efforts and encouraged them to continue showing appreciation for their teachers.
