Our school, established in the year 1995, has grown to be a Govt. recognized Matriculation Higher Secondary School, with the blessings of Almighty God and Mother Mary, Our Patron
With main curricular languages and subjects such as- English, Tamil, Mathematics, Science and Social Science , Allied Subjects namely, Computer Science, Hindi, Value Education, General Knowledge are being taught. Smart classes for Spoken English have been held for all classes. Activities like Drawing, Spoken English, Rhymes & Story telling are regularly held. Co- Curricular activities are well planned and organized. Maths - Computer Science and Maths - Biology groups are offered at the Higher Secondary Class.
Progress of students are keenly evaluated through Weekly, Monthly, Periodical Tests and Terminal Examinations. Intensive coaching classes are conducted for standards IX, X, XI & XII. Performance of IX, X, XI& XII standards students and teachers is reviewed systematically.
Music, Dance, Yoga, Physical and Health Education classes are conducted to promote the emotional and physical development of students.
Quiz on Mathematic Tables and General Knowledge, Elocution competitions are held periodically, Essay writing competition and Singing, Reading, Hand writing, Drawing, Kolam and Dance competitions are conducted through Literary Association and prizes are distributed to encourage the students to unfold their hidden potentials.
Skills development activities are carried on through Scout and Guides, Junior Red Cross, National Green Corps, Consumer Club, Health Club, Chess Club Maths Club, Science Club, Music Club and Sports and Games Club to facilitate the growth and development of students.
To enhance the self-esteem and self-confidence of our students, different personality development activities are arranged. Special sessions are held on communication and behavioural skills. The habit of news paper reading is being inculcated. Sessions are arranged for the development of leadership qualities of students.
Interaction sessions for parents of IX, X, XI and XII Standards students and teachers are arranged periodically to improve the academic achievements of the students.
The Celebration of International Yoga Day, Inauguration of all associations, birthday of kamaraj, Independence Day, Teachers day, Our School patron St. Mary’s Feast, Children’s day, Christmas, New year, Republic day and women’s day are celebrated every year.
Science Exhibition and Educational tour are arranged. Students are also taken for sports events conducted in district level and also won prizes.
