Stepping out for a cause! 🚶‍♀️✨ Our students from the PPG Institute of Optometry proudly participated in the Walkathon at "Semmozhi poonga "organized by the Indian Medical Association (Coimbatore Branch) to observe World Glaucoma Day.

​Who says the school drop-off can't be educational?
This morning, our Optometry students took the fight against Glaucoma to the school gates!
​ While parents were dropping off their little ones at Alchemy Public school, our team was there to remind them to look after their own vision.
By explaining the "Silent Thief of Sight" and distributing brochures, we turned a busy morning into a life-changing health check.

Today at the PPG Institute of Optometry, our "Know Your IOP" Family Screening Drive transformed our campus lab into a high-energy clinical hub. It was a proud moment to see our faculty members—the mentors who shape the next generation—step back into the field of clinical practice with the same passion and precision as an OPD hospital setup.

In honor of World Glaucoma Day, the PPG Institute of Optometry hit the streets of Saravanampatti to spread the word! Our students were out in full force with placards and brochures, educating the public on why regular eye check-ups are non-negotiable.

We strongly believe that "Prevention is better than cure." A huge thank you to the Inspector of Police, Saravanampatti, and his incredible team for their support and for helping us make this awareness drive a success! 🙌✨
