Chandrakanthi Public School, in collaboration with the Coimbatore Corporation – Sanitation Department, conducted a meaningful awareness initiative on 7th & 8th August 2026 at Nehru Nagar Bus Stand, Kalapatti Road, Coimbatore.
Our Grade 9 students, accompanied by their teachers, actively participated in a wall-painting awareness campaign focusing on two important social causes — Child Abuse Prevention and Waste Segregation.
Through creative artwork and impactful messages, our students encouraged the public to promote child safety, responsible waste management, and a cleaner, safer community.
With 71 students and 6 teachers participating across two days, the initiative provided a valuable opportunity for students to step beyond the classroom and turn their learning into meaningful community action.
The experience nurtured empathy, teamwork, creativity, social awareness, and civic responsibility, empowering our young learners to become responsible citizens and positive changemakers.

🏆🔥 16th Annual Sports Meet 2026–2027 | Celebrating the Spirit of Sportsmanship 🔥🏆
Chandrakanthi Public School proudly celebrated its 16th Annual Sports Meet on 12th August 2026, under the leadership of our Correspondent, Dr. R. Nandini. The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Major Dr. M. Bhagaraj, who inspired our young athletes with his presence and words of encouragement. The celebration commenced with the school prayer, followed by the welcome address, flag hoisting, March Past, torch lighting, and the sports oath, officially marking the beginning of an exciting day of athletic excellence. The vibrant programme featured spectacular mass drills, Zumba, Yoga, and Karate demonstrations, which enthralled parents and spectators alike.
