குரோம்பேட்டை நேரு நகர் எஸ்.சி.எஸ். மெட்ரிக் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் மறைந்த முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் பாரதரத்னா டாக்டர். ஏ.பி.ஜே. அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்களின் பிறந்த நாளை " இளைஞர் எழுச்சி நாள்" ஆகக் கொண்டாடும் வகையில் எங்கள் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கான பேச்சுப் போட்டி மற்றும் கட்டுரைப் போட்டிகள் நடத்தப்பட்டன. இதில் வெற்றிபெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு சமூக ஆர்வலர் திரு. கே. கருணாகரன் பரிசளித்து பாராட்டினார். உடன் முதல்வர் திருமதி. பேபி சரோஜா, பள்ளியின் தாளாளர் கிருஷ்சந்தானம், செயலர் வி. சந்தானம், பள்ளி கல்வி ஆலோசகர் பானுமதிகுணசேகரன், ஆசிரியர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் மற்றும் பொது மக்கள் பலர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

69th Independence Day was celebrated in our school .
Chief Guest Dr. J. S. Rajkumar Chairman, Lifeline Group of Hospitals hoisted the flag and Dr. N. Viswanathan Director ,Deepam Group of Hospitals distributed the prizes in the presence of Mr.Krish Santhanam Correspondent, Ms.S.Baby Saroja , Principal and Mr.V.Santhanam, Secretary.

கிருஷ்ண ஜெயந்தி விழாவை முன்னிட்டு குரோம்பேட்டை நேரு நகர் எஸ்.சி.எஸ். மெட்ரிக் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி மாணவ-மாணவியர்களுக்கான மாறுவேட போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. இதில் கிருஷ்ணன், ராதை, சிவன், ராமன், முருகன் , பிள்ளையார் உள்பட பல்வேறு வேடம் அணிந்து மாணவர்கள் அசத்தினர். அவை பார்வையாளர்களை வெகுவாய் கவர்ந்தது. நிகழ்ச்சியில் பள்ளி முதல்வர் திருமதி. பேபி சரோஜா, பள்ளியின் தாளாளர் கிருஷ்சந்தானம், செயலர் வி. சந்தானம், ஆசிரியர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் மற்றும் பொது மக்கள் பலர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
