The event, titled "Empowering Choices: Access to Comprehensive S*xual and Reproductive Healthcare for All," featured poster presentations and essay writing to educate the population about this crucial topic.

The seminar highlighted the significance of education and awareness in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. Dr. B Srividya, BMCP, Chitradurga, the speaker, emphasized the importance of healthcare providers' involvement in educating patients and providing non-judgmental medical advice.

Some key takeaways from the seminar include:

1. Routine Health Check-Ups: Regular screenings, such as Pap smears, STI tests, and mammograms, are essential for early detection and treatment.

Department of Pharmacy Practice, SJM College of Pharmacy, Chitradurga, organized "World Cancer Day" program on February 4, 2025, with Dr. Aswini G.S as the Chief Guest by Watering the Plant. The program aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, detection and its treatment.

It was highlighted that nearly 124 women die due to cervical cancer every day, emphasizing the importance of primary prevention and screening tests. The audience was educated on recognizing early symptoms of cervical cancer and the importance of self-examination for breast cancer.

The event was organized by K LalDingliani and Preethi GN as a student coordinators with the teacher coordinator Dr. NAVEEN KUMAR S
