Cam-o-genics club is a photography & film society that documents all the major events through audiovisual media, Enabling the team members to have an exposure and scope to transform themselves from an amateur to a professional.

We collaborate with all the departments and clubs to document all their programs, lectures, and events. These contents are stored in our cloud base and used for presentation and promotion

As a part of our skill enhancement programs, we conduct workshops, Photowalk, and training sessions. Cam-o-genics club helps to be self-motivated and enables us to visualizes life from a different perspective

Theme: How do you celebrate photography and art competition

Entry is again free

How to participate:

1. Follow us .

2. Participants should stick to the event theme and submit their photographs or art or both.

3. Participants can participate in either or both the categories as per their instrest.

4. Google form will be provided for registration and submission of entries on our Instagram bio.

5. Winners will receive a story feature in our Instagram handle.

Note:
1. All Participants will receive E-certificate within a week of the results announcement.

2. Results will be announced by 27th October 2020.

DRONE MASTER

Rules-

1.Open to all.

2.Duration of video is maximum 15 seconds .

3.on 2nd March you have to submit the video.

4.Post in your story tagging our page.

PHOTOLLYWOOD

Entry fee- Rs. 60/-

Rules:

1. Open to all.

2. Participants should take a series of pictures (minimum 😎 within the given time and edit their photos make it as a video clip with music. The video should not exceed 10 to 15 sec.

3. Photos which were taken on spot should only be used.

PHOTO MARATHON

Entry fee- Rs100

Rules-
1.Only college students can participate.

2. Participants will be provided 3 topics to take photos and they may choose one

3. Participants will be given 2 hours to take photos and 30min for basic editing like colour corrections

4. Participants can use either DSLR or Phone

Dualation

Rules-

1.Only college students can participate.

2. Two members per team with individual cameras.

3. 2 hours for capturing pictures and 1hour for editing.

4. Click photos of two different locations or objects and merge together to get a single picture.

Illusions

Entry fee- Rs.50/-

Rules:

1. Only students can participate.

2. Participants should send their picture with watermark on either left or right bottom corner of the picture along with their name, phone number, college name and email id to Instagram page.

3. once when we send you a unique serial number you have to make payment ( either Googlepay or Paytm or by cash if possible) and send the recipt for proof.

4. Once when your picture is posted we will notify you and you have to tag 5 or more friends in the comments section and give a shout-out.

5. Get maximum likes and unique comments to win the content.

6. The maximum likes which would be taken into account is only till 1st March 2020 12PM.

We are happy to share with you all that the valedictory function of 'Monocle', organised by "Cam-O-Genics"the photographic club of Ramapuram campus in association with the "SRM school of film technology" was a grand success.

Cam-O-Genics conducted the photography, short film and script writing competitions for encouraging the young talents.

The chief guests for the programme was Mr.Rajesh Selva Film Director (Thoongavanam,starring Kamal Haasan , Chiyan Vilram's upcoming film Kadaram kondan..) Mr.San Lokesh Editor (Irravikku aayram Kangal, Ratshasan..) and Mr.Arvind sing Cameraman (Urumeen , Demonte Colony..) had graced the occasion. Mr.Ravi Venkatraman who judged the short films was also present for occasion. All the eminent personalities from the film fraternity had shared their rich industrial experiences to the students. They also have distributed the cash prizes and certificates to the winners. Overall the function was a grand success....
