EMBARK 2025 at DoMS, IIT Madras!

The 8th edition of our Executive MBA Business Fest, EMBARK 2025, brought together leaders from academia, industry, and government under the theme “A World in Flux: Resetting Rules, Rethinking Roles.”

Highlights included keynotes by Dr. Sandeep Saxena (IAS) and Mr. Rajiv Lochan (MD, Sundaram Finance), a fireside chat with Brig. Sri Ram Kumar, and a panel featuring Prof. Preeti Aghalayam and Dr. Sandhya Shekhar.

Let Atma be your direction.” On July 11th, DoMS IIT Madras had the privilege of hosting Ms. Gayatri Vasudev Yadav, Group CMO & EVP – Chairman’s Office, Reliance Industries, as Chief Guest at the 62nd Convocation. In a powerful address blending sharp business insight with heartfelt reflection, she took the audience through a journey of reinvention, resilience, and soulful leadership in the AI era. Opening with a tribute to her late father and the sacrifices parents make, she grounded her talk in humility and gratitude. What followed was transformative. From English Literature at St. Xavier’s to IIM Calcutta, launching Pillsbury at P&G, building Hotstar at Star India, entering VC at Peak XV (Sequoia), and now working with Mukesh Ambani at Reliance — her story was one of choosing discomfort over complacency, learning over settling. She spoke not just of Artificial Intelligence, but Atma Intelligence — the soul’s capacity to care, to choose Dharma over data, to lead with empathy, self-awareness, and better questions. In a lasting message to the graduates, she urged them to balance ambition with awareness — to pursue velocity with values.
