This is a Civil Engineering Club of Vellore Institute of technology, Chennai Campus. Its primary aim is to endorse practical skills in the students through there rigorous involvement in various activities like workshops, Seminars, Contests etc.

CLUB is proud to say that Sreya and Abirami have excelled in the town planning event organised by the club.This event brings out the creativity of the young budding civil engineers of VITC .They have shown wonderful skills in planning a town using AUTOCAD.

The conducted a seminar for its club members on 20th September 2017. The aim was to give a critical insight about analysis and design of beams, dealing with shear forces, bending moment, axial forces, etc.
The utility of as an important software in such was explained making the learners more efficient and equipped with the latest technology.

A day with an aesthetic beginning and with all the quintessential elements was celebrated by the CIVITEK club on the auspicious occasion of teacher’s day with great fun and frolic!!
As it is never late for a fresh start CIVITEK club introduced a sense of vision(Motto)and the new logo which will the fresher's an ardent start. The club envisages on growth prerogatives. Teachers gave their critical insights and their valuable inputs enjoying the event!

The first event of civitek club (session 2017), CIVIFLAW was a great start as all fellow clubmates took part in it to make it a success.
They learnt about the flaws which are there in a building and discussed ways to overcome it.
We are glad to tell you that the winner of this event is the team of RONALD IMMANUEL R, LAMBERT SELVA.
The runner up team is KULDEEP KULSHRESTHA, PAWAN SINGH, ROSHAN SHELAR.
