One of our favourite things about Ukulele Nights is watching people surprise themselves. No matter your age or musical background, there’s something magical about learning your first chords and turning them into a song.

Did you master the Indhu Chakra? Now, let’s take the second step into the ragas of Nethra Chakra.
Why is it called Nethra? Nethra means Eyes. Since we have two eyes, it perfectly stands for the 2nd Chakra!

Here is what changes now: In the first chakra (Indhu), our Ri and Ga were locked at the lowest positions (R1, G1).
For the Nethra Chakra, the scale shifts slightly. The Purvanga (lower notes) locks into the next combination: Suddha Rishabha (R1) and Sadharana Gandhara (G2).
Just by shifting that one single note, a whole new universe of 6 beautiful ragas is born!
