On March 27, 2024, the Department of VLSI Microelectronics hosted a big event called MICRONEX'24, a national-level symposium. Alongside Technical and Non-Technical Events, there were sports competitions like Women's Throw Ball and Men's Cricket Tournaments. The event attracted 16 teams from various colleges, bringing lots of excitement and competitiveness.
In cricket, SIMATS School of Engineering College really stood out. They won both the first and second prizes, showing off their skills and determination on the field. In throw ball, it was SIMATS School of Engineering again who came out on top, with Vel-Tech High Tech College grabbing second place. Everyone played their hearts out, making the day super exciting.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Director Madam, Principal Sir, and Vice Principal Sir for their unwavering support throughout the event. Their guidance and encouragement ensured the smooth running of the proceedings, and their commitment to promoting extracurricular activities enriched our college experience, making it more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Dr. Maruti Tamrakar, the esteemed Resource Person and Application Engineering Expert, Keysight Technologies,
Bangalore, India, enriched the workshop with invaluable insights, making it a knowledge-rich and memorable experience for all attendees. The workshop served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and fostering connections in the domains of RF, Microwave, Signal Integrity, and Antenna Design through the utilization of the Keysight certification course and tools.
