At the 29th National Senior Athletics Federation Cup 2026, held in Ranchi, Niharika Vashisht—a daughter of Punjab—set a new national record with a jump of 13.64 meters.
Niharika Vashisht is also the reigning National Champion from the previous year, 2025.
In that competition, she had executed a triple jump measuring 13.37 meters.
A native of Mohali, Niharika Vashisht has represented India in numerous international competitions over the course of several years.
Niharika has also won a bronze medal at an athletics meet held in the UAE.
Niharika is also an accomplished model; she utilizes the earnings from her modeling career to cover the expenses associated with her athletic training and competitions.
Niharika currently trains under the guidance of Senior Athletics Coach Swarn Singh.
