This week, we spotlight Prof. 𝐀𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐣𝐞𝐞, Department of Applied Mechanics, IIT Madras — an expert in fracture & fatigue mechanics across diverse material systems.

With global academic experience from Purdue University, University of Glasgow, and MIT, she has been shaping minds at IIT Madras since 2005.

Recipient of the Young Faculty Recognition Award (2011), she continues to inspire excellence in STEM.

At 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬, real stories and journeys reflect the mindset and values that define impactful mentorship— inspiring the entire IIT Madras community.
