Dear Programme Officer's,

State NSS Officer, TN-NSS Cell has informed that a Cultural Competition is scheduled to be held at
Madurai on 5.5.2017. The tradition culturals (karakattam, thappattam, mohiniattam, oyilattam,
kavaddiattam, mylattam, silambam and bharatham) are to be performed on the stage. The best
performing 4 places will be getting the cash prizes i.e Rs.1, 00,000, 75,000, 50,000, and 25,000 followed
by certificate on the same day itself. Every participating teams will be getting appreciation certificate
and worth of cash Rs.10,000/- per team. Boarding and lodging will be arranged by the organizers.
Hence, the Programme Officers are advised to send their teams list to this office immediately on or
before 02.05.2017. The scrutiny and selection of the teams will be on 03.05.2017 at NSS Cell, University
of Madras, Chennai based on the performance.
