(Cloud Programming) -
Outlining the advantages of Groovy for the cloud developer.
Programming In The Cloud
Every day, companies, businesses and organizations across the world are migrating to cloud platforms and the major cloud providers are investing significant resources in an effort to provide easy-to-operate, secure and robust cloud-based systems. According to Intel, a new cloud server is needed for every 120 tablets or 600 smartphones that hit the market so it is clear that there will continue to be career opportunities for those with the skills and understanding to deliver cloud security and functionality to meet the necessary business needs.
Rapid advances in cloud computing, big data and web technology are leading to a new wave of enhanced applications with profound implications on the way in which people interact with online data.
Among the most significant advances in recent years is the success of Groovy, a powerful and flexible programming language which works on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Groovy has many advantages. It is concise, readable and easy to maintain as well as supporting both object oriented and functional programming. There is an ever-expanding ecosystem of Groovy related projects, including Grails for web application development, Gradle for building automation (as used by Android developers) and Spock for testing and specification. Groovy works seamlessly with Java and Java libraries can be integrated with no special configuration or modification.
It is quite easy to run Groovy programs on Google App Engine (G*E). This offers the cloud developer a number of distinct advantages and support, perhaps most importantly, it provides for applications that will scale on demand without the need for code changes. Groovy is an ideal language for programming applications on G*E with the advantages of the free tier, rapid development and scalable applications. G*E includes a free tier with no credit card required. This gives new programmers, smaller companies and educational establishments an opportunity to start out in the cloud without major investment in resources.
Cloud vendors offer platforms with varying degrees of control. In the standard model we find infrastructure as a service offering a high degree of client control, including a choice of operating system and the capability of installing and managing various components. With platform as a service the client need not be concerned with underlying issues such as the particular file system used, but can focus on developing their applications in a variety of languages including Groovy, as well as Java, C #, Python or PhP. Another common concern when choosing a cloud platform is that companies will be locked into one system but using open source, standardized languages, such as Groovy, make transferring applications between cloud vendors or to a local platform simpler. Other languages such as Scala and JRuby which run in the JVM can also run on G*E with some modification.

(WHY ANGULARJS?) -
In AngularJS you have to have a very structured view and approach on what you want to accomplish. It is scarcely following a linear fashion to complete a task, but rather, the exchanges between various objects take care of the requests and actions, which, then, is necessary as angular is an MVC-Based framework. It also requires an at least general blueprint of the finalized application, since coding depends much on how you want the interactions to be completed.

jQuery is like a free poetry, you write lines and keep some relations and momentum appropriate for your task to be accomplished.
Though, in Angular JS, you should follow some rules as well as keeping the momentum and relations proper, maybe it is more like classical Spencerian sonnet (a famous classical poet) whose poem is structural and tied to many rules.
Compared against AngularJS, jQuery is more like a collection of codes and functions (which is, as already mentioned, great for DOM manipulation and fast-effect achievement), while AngularJS is a real framework which gives the developer the ability to build an enterprise web-application with a lot of data-binding and exchange within a superbly organized-routing and management.
Furthermore, AngularJS has no dependency on jQuery to complete its task. It has two very superb features which are not found in jQuery in any sense:
1- Angular JS teaches you how to CODE and accomplish a goal, not just accomplish a goal by any means. Worth to mention that AngularJS fully utilizes the core and heart of Javascripts and paves the way for you to incorporate in your app, the techniques such as DI (dependency-injection). To work with angularJS you should (or must) learn more elevated techniques of coding with Javascript.
2- Angular JS is fully independent to handle directives and structure your app; you might then simply claim that jQuery can do the same (independence), but, indeed, AngularJS, as several times mentioned within the above lines, has independence in the most excellent possible structurally MVC-Based way.

(Happy Independence Day) -

India marks 15 August as 69th Independence Day this year. On this day, the entire nation celebrates freedom from the British rule and the bond of togetherness and brotherhood.
Independence Day has great significance in our country because it reminds us of the unity and diversity of our nation. It is the day when India became free from the British Rule after 200 years of slavery.
India is the only nation that has more than two billion people of different religion, language and culture, living together and celebrating every occasion with great zeal.
The Indian Independence Day is celebrated in a big manner in schools and colleges and a grand cultural even is organised. Many pay homage to the freedom fighters and legends who fought for the country.
One can see tri-color flags, balloons, kites and outfits on this day. Offices, schools hoist flag and sing the National Anthem.
Most importantly, the Prime Minister (this year Narendra Modi) hoists the National flag at the Red Fort, Delhi, followed by a speech.
This is the day when the entire nation comes together to spread happiness and love.

Take a look at the above slideshow to see Picture Messages of ‘Independence Day’.
