There are not many moments in life that you can treasure forever. When unfathomable wisdom and pure humility become your way of life and people follow your lifestyle, you become a true "legend." And when a legend preserves the innocent curiosity to learn more and more about every new thing at the age when the entire universe is bowed down and sitting at his feet, he becomes the figure of “Inspiration” .

Sharing few moments afterwards my Natya (dance) presentation at the "Jharna" festival at Bharatkalanjali, with "Master," Padmabhushan Shri V P Dhanajayan.

When a temple's presiding deity is carried in
procession, the unique musical composition called
mallari is played on the nadaswaram.
The deity, who has been decked with diamonds and garlands, is carried close to the temple tower, where a nadaswaram musician performs while tavil plays.

Akshaya is a student of Vedangeeka. She is pursuing an academic degree in anaesthetic technology. She began learning Bharatanatyam from Soumitri Som at a very tender age. We are happy to share her practise session of Mallari. Dance is her passion, and she is indomitable in nurturing her creative aspirations. Vedaangika gives the opportunity to achieve academic career goals and nourish the love for Bharatanatyam, simultaneously!
