SB College (St Berchmans), Changanacherry

Gandhi University in 1983. SB College is the recipient of the Best College Award instituted by the State of Kerala. When the new National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) started its operations to assess the institutions of higher education in India, SB was granted with a five star rating (the higher grade). The University's Grants Commission (UGC) of India identifies SB as a College with Potential for Excellence. SB College is also the Partner Institute of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and other temples of higher education. The students of St Berchmans College regularly occupy top ranks in the University examinations as well as in the Sports and Arts competitions. The alumnus of the College serves in the social, cultural, economical, political, educational and scientific domains in various parts of the world.
