Answer to question no 2. Raman when you disconnect the main supply from the heater,the coil of the heater acts as a current source and it ll show transient behaviour upto 5 times the value of time constant L/ R. After that its response settles down to 0 and all current stored in inductor gets dissipated across the resistance of tube light. And after that no current will flow.

These scorecards will be available with respective Zonal GATE Offices from 5th May 2014. Please check the status of your scorecard to ensure that it is with the respective Zonal GATE Office using the link View Status of Returned Scorecards and claim the scorecard from the respective Zonal GATE Office via one of the following methods:

1. Collect in person on any working day during 10:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m.
2. Arrange for collection by a third party with a suitable authorisation duly signed.
