The Seminar was conducted by IIISLA (INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INSURANCE SURVEYORS AND LOSS ASSESSORS), North Zone in collaboration with Chandigarh Insurance Institute on 08/09-05-2026 at Hotel, The Country Inn, Zirakhpur.

‘Navigating Motor Liability: From Statutory Mandates to Modern Fraud Prevention’
Ms. Archana Aggarwal, Manager from National Insurance gave detailed presentation on ‘Managing Modern Risks through Misc. Insurance’.
She delved in detail about Professional Indemnity Insurance, which has become a mandatory coverage in many professions.

A seminar on ‘Insurance Education Awareness’ was held at Divisional Library (south), Sector 34, Chandigarh on 24-4-2026. The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the Library by Chandigarh Insurance Institute which is Chandigarh Chapter of The Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. The seminar is part of ‘Insurance Week ‘ celebration by the Insurance Institute of India at its various centres all over India.

Insurance pe*******on in India vis vis developed economies, breaking the myth with examples that insurance is not an unnecessary expense but an investment and Insurance fellowship examination conducted by the Insurance Institute of India.
Mr. Saurav Sood, Assistant Manager from United India Insurance Company gave a presentation on career opportunities in insurance sector, new policies devised to meet emerging challenges in insurance due to complexities in modern business.

An Insurance Education Awareness program titled 'Sabh ka Bima Sabh ki Raksha, Act 2025 and Actuarial Challenges' and emerging Opportunities in the Insurance Sector was conducted at the Panjab University in collaboration with the University Business School on 24-03-2026.
