The Independence Day celebration was organized with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Guru Nanak Khalsa Sr. Sec. School, 30-B, Chandigarh. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem.
Students presented patriotic songs, speeches, poems and cultural performances highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the values of unity and patriotism. The Principal addressed the gathering and encouraged students to become responsible and disciplined citizens of the country.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks. The entire programme was conducted in a joyful and patriotic atmosphere, leaving everyone with a strong sense of national pride.

Report on Day 5 – Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign
The fifth day(14.8.26)of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign commenced with a vibrant morning assembly filled with patriotic fervour. Students and teachers participated enthusiastically in patriotic activities and were reminded of their duties towards the nation. A powerful Nukkad Natak was presented by the students, highlighting the importance of national unity, patriotism, and respect for the Tricolour. An exhibition displaying patriotic artwork, posters, creative projects, and informative material was also organised. Students and visitors appreciated the creativity and meaningful messages showcased in the exhibition. The day concluded with an enthusiastic Har Ghar Tiranga Rally, in which students and teachers proudly carried the National Flag and raised patriotic slogans. The rally spread the message of love for the motherland and encouraged everyone to proudly display the Tricolour at home. The activities successfully strengthened the spirit of patriotism and national pride among all participants.

Report on Day 4 – Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign
The fourth day of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign was conducted in Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School ,30 b, Chandigarh with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit in the school. The morning assembly began with a meaningful lecture on the Indian Independence Struggle, highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the journey towards independence. Students also participated enthusiastically in the collective singing of the patriotic song “Vande Mataram”, creating an atmosphere of unity and pride. As part of the day’s activities, short films based on the Partition of India were screened for students. The films sensitively portrayed the historical events, hardships, and human emotions associated with Partition, helping students understand its impact and significance. The activities encouraged students to value freedom, national unity, peace, and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.

The second day of the Vande Mataram Campaign was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Sector 30-B, Chandigarh. The day began with a special morning assembly focusing on the importance and meaning of “Vande Mataram.” Students were enlightened about its significance as a symbol of love for the motherland, national unity and patriotism.
Various creative activities were organised to encourage students to express their feelings for the nation. An essay writing competition, poetry recitation, poster-making competition and “Letters to Soldiers” activity were conducted. Students participated actively and showcased their creativity, emotions and respect for the nation and its brave soldiers. The activities provided an opportunity for students to understand the values of patriotism, courage, sacrifice and national pride. The entire campus echoed with a strong sense of unity and love for the country.
