A Celebration of Our Rich Heritage ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ -ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੀ ਗੂੰਜ
A vibrant and memorable “ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੀ ਗੂੰਜ” – ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ was successfully concluded at ਬੀਬੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਕੌਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, celebrating the richness, beauty and timeless traditions of Punjabi heritage.
The colourful congregation of events brought our traditional culture alive through ਪਿੱਠੂ ਕਰਮ, ਰੱਸਾ ਕਸ਼ੀ, ਬੋਰੀ ਰੇਸ, ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਣਾ, ਚਾਟੀ ਰੇਸ, ਗੀਟੇ, ਰੱਸੀ ਟੱਪਣਾ, ਗੁੱਲੀ ਡੰਡਾ, ਨਿੰਬੂ ਰੇਸ, ਗਿੱਦਾ, ਪੀਂਘ, ਕਿਕਲੀ, ਕੋਕਲਾ ਛਪਾਕੀ, ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ, ਮਹਿੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ, ਬੁਣਤੀ ਕਢਾਈ, along with vibrant Food Stalls and Game Stalls.
The enthusiastic participation of our students turned the campus into a colourful celebration of Punjabi traditions, folk games, art, creativity and community spirit. The joy, laughter and active involvement of the students made the event truly special and memorable.
Such celebrations remind us that our heritage is not merely something to remember—it is something to live, celebrate and pass on to the next generation.
Heartfelt appreciation to all the students, faculty members and organizers whose dedication and enthusiasm made this celebration a grand success.
