Celebrating the excellence, dedication, and hard work of our student, *Thanseem Ziyad* (Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology), who secured the *2nd Rank in KUHS University*.

The honouring ceremony commenced with a prayer by Sajana and Bency from the CVT 23 batch, followed by the welcome address by *Dr. Jabir Abdullakutty* (Senior Consultant Cardiologist, BCVT and DCVT Academic Coordinator).

The student was honoured by *Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul Karedan* (Director, Lisie Hospital and Chief Executive Trustee – LMEI) with a ponnada and certificate. The keynote address was delivered by *Rev. Fr. Dr. Varghese Ambalathingal* (Joint Director – LMEI), followed by the presentation of a memento.

Felicitations were delivered by *Dr. Rony Mathew Kadavil* (HOD and Senior Consultant Cardiologist), who also handed over the certificate. The memento, medal, certificate, and special gift were sponsored and presented by *Dr. Jabir Abdullakutty* as a symbol of his encouragement, appreciation, and motivation for students to achieve academic excellence.

A token of appreciation was presented by *Dr. Lijesh Kumar* (Senior Interventional Radiologist) to *Salman Faris K.R.* and *Neha Aby* for securing First Class in their studies.

Thanseem Ziyad delivered the acceptance speech, and the vote of thanks was proposed by *Dr. Shabeer S. Iqbal* (Principal, LCOAHS), thanking all the doctors, technicians, nursing staff, teachers, and parents for their support and contribution to this achievement.

The programme concluded with the Lisie Anthem.

LABORATORY PROFESSIONAL WEEK 2026

The official valedictory function marking the conclusion of Medical Laboratory Professional Week 2026, organized by the Lisie College of Allied Health Sciences, was held on 24 April 2026 at the Lisie Hospital Auditorium.

The programme commenced with a prayer by Vishnupriya (BMLT 23), followed by a welcome address from Rose Dias (General Secretary, Students’ Union). The event was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Reju Kannampuzha, Executive Director of LCC, who emphasized the significance of laboratory professionals in healthcare.

As the grand finale to the week’s festivities, the ceremony included the prize distribution for various competitions held throughout the week and the official release of the magazine cover page by the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Reju Kannampuzha. A special highlight was the cake-cutting ceremony celebrating the feast day of Rev. Fr. Varghese Ambalathingal (Assistant Director, LMEI), adding a joyful spirit to the closing occasion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Alfeena C.P. (Lecturer, LCOAHS) and the Lisie Anthem, marking a successful and memorable end to the week-long celebrations.

LISIE COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES FAREWELL-2026

The farewell party titled “Farewell Fiesta” was organized by Lisie College of Allied Health Sciences on 30th March at 10:00 am in the Lisie Hospital Auditorium to bid the farewell to our beloved seniors of BMLT-2021, BCVT-2021, DOTAT-2023, DET-2023, DNT-2023, DMLT-2023, DCVT-2023 & DDT-2023 Batches.
The program began with the grand entry of the farewell batches, followed by a warm welcome speech by Ms. Siba Ul Riya Saleem (DMLT 2024 Batch). The inaugural address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Varghese Ambalathingal, Joint Director, Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions.
Dr.Jayant Thomas Mathew-Senior Consultant, (Nephrology), Lisie Hospital, Dr.Vandana N Iyengar, Senior Consultant (Anaesthesia), Lisie Hospital & Prof. Harikumar J, Vice Principal, LCOAHS offered felicitation address. The vote of thanks was given by Ms.Catherine Anooj, Vice Chairperson, Students Union, expressed her sincere gratitude to the Principal, faculties and students for their support.
The program was followed by a series of cultural performances, games, short skit and video presentation by juniors of each batch by highlighting memorable moments of their college life.
Dr.ShabeerSIqbaal, Principal, LCOAHS, shared his message by expressing his pride in the achievements of the students and encouraging them for future endeavours.
The farewell function concluded on a heartfelt note as juniors of each batch expressed their affection by presenting gifts as token of love to the seniors.
