We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to host Web3.0 & Digital Marketing workshop at the Tecxeon25 Tech Fest of MDIT Engineering College! It was an absolute pleasure to share our knowledge and passion for technology with such an enthusiastic and engaged audience.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success. Your curiosity, questions, and active involvement made the workshop truly memorable. We are inspired by the talent and potential we witnessed and are excited to see where your tech journeys take you.

Someone keeps making new accounts to harass me. These creepy guys are harassing me and won’t let up. At one point, I blocked him, and he made new accounts to bypass it and harass my account. That meant messaging me and commenting on my pictures. He also made group chats with people I’m friends with and messaged them, calling me crude words.

Now he’s been threatening to give me "the punishment. Which is likely an empty threat, but it’s still scary. I blocked him again (I only unblocked him so the harassment would stop) and made my profile private. I’ve reported him countless times for harassment and bullying, but I’m afraid Instagram won’t be able to detect that seeing as most of the harassment is happening in the DMs.

I am underage, and he isn’t. I know the authorities should possibly be contacted, but right now I’d like to avoid that. Right now, my profile is private, he’s blocked on all accounts I know of, and everything seems okay for now. But how do I prevent this in the future? And how do I get Instagram to understand why I’m trying to report him?

Note: This is not someone we know in real life, based on similar scenarios reported.

Just don’t stop yourself by reporting to Instagram because that person might abandon that account, create a new profile, and repeat the same. So what’s the solution to this? People like this always think that if they are using an IP proxy or fake credentials, they can’t be reached!

Step by step guide to report stolen content
1) Click the DMCA link.
https://help.instagram.com/contact/552695131608132
2) Click the option saying you found content that violates your copyright.
3) Click the next pop up to confirm you want to continue with your copyright report.
4) Click to add your contact information. As noted above, you only have to provide your name and any email address. Use your real name – not your Instagram account name. You can use your cat account’s email address.
5) Confirm your email address.
6) Select your country of residence.
7) Click on the content you want to report and specify what kind of content it is.
8)Add the direct link to the content you are reporting. If the account has blocked you, try to get the link via another Instagram account they have not blocked or ask someone else to get you the link.
9) Select why you are reporting this content.
10) Click to supply your original work and select the type of content this is.
Add the direct link to the post on your own Instagram account.
11)Optional: you can add attachments that prove you own the copyrights to this content.
12) Confirm you have the copyright to this content.
13) Confirm that you agree.
14) Add your electronic signature (just type your name).
15) Submit. And you’re done!
16) Instagram will send you an email confirming your report.
17) Instagram will send you an email once they have removed or disabled access to the content. This is usually within 48 hours.
