Ganga Snan is an important ritual for Hindus that is performed on the Purnima Tithi in the sacred month of Kartik which is popularly known Kartik Purnima. This month is considered to be very auspicious as Lord Vishnu is worshipped during this month and on this propitious day, people take holy bath in Ganga river.
