🌼 Pre - Primary Activity-Based Learning .
The Junior Wing of the school recently conducted a activity-based learning sessions to enhance classroom engagement and make the learning process more effective and enjoyable for young learners.
Students actively participated in a variety of thoughtfully planned activities such as drawing, colouring and simple group tasks. These activities were designed to strengthen conceptual understanding while simultaneously fostering creativity, communication skills, and social interaction.
The initiative reflects the school’s commitment to providing a holistic learning environment, where children are encouraged to explore, express, and learn through experience. Activity-based learning plays a vital role in developing confidence, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards education at an early stage.
The enthusiastic participation of the students made the programme a great success.

Awareness and Vaccination Programme on Cervical Cancer
An awareness and vaccination programme on cervical cancer was successfully organized in DAV Ispat Public School, Sector 9E, Bokaro, with the objective of educating girls of class IX and X about the prevention and early detection of cervical cancer.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with healthcare professionals of Sadar Hospital, who provided valuable insights into the causes, symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures related to cervical cancer. Special emphasis was laid on the importance of regular screening and timely vaccination.
During the session, the experts explained the role of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) as the primary cause of cervical cancer and highlighted the effectiveness of the HPV vaccine in preventing the disease. Informative presentations and interactive discussions helped in spreading awareness among the participants.
The programme was attended by class IX & X girls students, female staff members and mothers of students, who actively participated and clarified their doubts regarding the vaccination process and its benefits.
Following the awareness session, a vaccination drive was conducted for eligible participants under proper medical supervision. All necessary precautions and safety measures were strictly followed to ensure a smooth and safe vaccination process.
The initiative was highly appreciated by the attendees, and it contributed significantly to spreading awareness about women’s health and preventive care.

🌍 Earth Day Celebration at DAV Ispat Public School, Jr. Wing and senior Wing Sector–9E 🌱

Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness at our school. The event aimed to inspire students to care for our planet and adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.

DAV Ispat Public School, Bokaro Sector 9E celebrated the auspicious occasion of Mahatma Hansraj Jayanti with great enthusiasm.

The Death Anniversary of Mahatma N. D. Grover was solemnly observed on 06/02/26 at the Senior Wing. The programme was addressed by the Hon’ble Principal Sir, who spoke about the life, ideals, and remarkable contribution of Mahatma N. D. Grover to education and society.

Teachers and students paid respectful tributes and observed a moment of silence in his memory. Principal Sir urged the students to imbibe values of truth, discipline, and service, and to strive for excellence in all walks of life

Awareness Session on POCSO Act

An informative and sensitizing awareness session on the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) was conducted at our school with the gracious visit of S.I. City Mahila Thana, Ms. Meera Lakra, along with Nirbhaya Sathi Ms. Laxmi Kumari.

The session aimed to create awareness among students about child safety, personal boundaries, good touch–bad touch, and the legal provisions under the POCSO Act. The speakers explained the topic in a simple and student-friendly manner, encouraging students to speak up, stay alert, and seek help without fear.
