2 local guys -Rajesh & Vijay- got lucky to receive a good education because of sponsorships. They wanted to give something back. Both work as local guides and know the area very well. They visited many local villages but as they reached Menjhar, they thought
"WHAT THE F**K HAPPENED HERE?"
They remembered that EDUCATION makes the difference and decided to help & build a school over there. Thanks to a Japanese sponsor they were able to start the school literally under the trees. They also started a sewing course after they discovered that many female villagers have a lot of free time but are unable to fix their cloths. After 3 years and many donations the construction of the school building with 2 classrooms was realized (October 2015). Currently (January 2016) 160 children from 7 different villages and 30 female students for the sewing course attending the school regularly. TENDENCY INCREASING!!! OUR VISION
- to hire at least 2 more teachers
- to buy the local land (around 9.000 US$) in front of the building that is actual used as the playground
- to buy each student (regularly, every year) new notebooks, books, pencils,…
- to build 3-4 more classrooms
- to establish 1 hospital room completely furnished that all villagers get access to free medical support ( nearest doctor or hospital around 30 km away)
- to hire a medicine doctor for regular check ups
- to establish 1 computer lab and also buy 1 power back (big battery) for the time of the daily power cuts
