Kendriya Vidyalaya Birbhum is among around other 950 K.Vs which run under the aegis of K.V.S. 18, Institutional Area, shaheed Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi-16. KVS is an autonomous organization, well patroniszed by the Deptt. of Education, Ministry of HRD Govt. of India. Region wise, it is controlled and guided by KVS Kolkata Region with its regional office at EB Block, Laboni, Sector-I, Salt lake, Kolkata-64. As all other KVs this Vidyalaya is going to be affiliated with the (CBSE) New Delhi very soon. The Vidyalaya follows the curriculum desired by N.C.E.R.T.(NCERT) along with that of CBSE like other schools under its sister concern JNVS. This Vidyalaya has been blessed with a good staff and the faculty members are all highly educated, dedicated and passionate about their noble profession.
