IEEE IES Bhubaneswar Hub and Nodes Event: 5-Day KIIT
Summer Refresher Programme 2026 was successfully inaugurated on 16th June 2026 by the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Centered on the theme “Electrification for Sustainable Energy Transition: Advanced Technologies for Smart Grids and Net-Zero Energy Systems.”

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Milos Manic (Virginia Commonwealth University, USA), Prof. (Dr.) Akshay Kumar Rathore (National University of Singapore), Prof. Premalata Jena (IIT Roorkee), and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU.

The 13th International Day of Art of Giving 2026, a noble initiative of Hon'ble Founder KIIT, KISS & KIMS Dr. Achyuta Samanta, was celebrated at Attagarh, Cuttack under the inspiring theme “Share to Shine”, spreading the message of compassion, unity, and social responsibility.

As part of the celebration, a Volleyball Tournament was organized to promote community participation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and joyful engagement among the villagers. The event beautifully showcased the spirit of togetherness, collective happiness and the true essence of sharing, caring and serving society.
