A proud and memorable moment as our Hon'ble Founder, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, joined the Ganesh Puja celebration at the Ambani family residence, Antilia, Mumbai, on the kind invitation of Smt. Nita Ambani Ji. 🙏

The evening was marked by warm interactions with Smt. Nita Ambani Ji, Shri Mukesh Ambani Ji and Shri Anant Ambani Ji, along with the divine blessings of Ganpati Bappa.

It is heartening to see our Founder Sir's work and journey receive such warmth and respect. A truly special occasion to cherish.

KIIT Alumni Cell, in collaboration with the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership and E-Cell, successfully hosted KREST 1.0 on 22 August 2026 at KIIT Campus-7, themed “From Campus to Company: Turning Ideas into Business.”

The event provided an enriching platform for KIIT alumni entrepreneurs, industry experts, faculty and students to share experiences and perspectives on building successful ventures through innovation, effective ex*****on and resilience.

The event also highlighted startup support, KISS TBI, RDI, COIR, research and industry collaboration, reinforcing KIIT’s commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The 4th Kalinga Global Photography Festival (KGPF) 2026, a flagship event organised by the School of Film & Media Sciences, KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, began on a vibrant and inspiring note on 19th August 2026.
Sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Minister Shri Gokula Nanda Mallik and Guest of Honour, eminent actress Ms. Varsha Priyadarshini, for gracing the inaugural ceremony and inspiring our young creative minds.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Founder KIIT, KISS & KIMS Dr. Achyuta Samanta for creating a meaningful platform like KGPF that celebrates creativity, imagination and visual expression while providing young talents with opportunities to explore and showcase their passion for photography.

India's first pilot cm demonstration plant for recovery of alumina, REEs and valuable products is designed and commissioned jointly by CSIR-IMMT, KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and NALCO with financial support from Ministry of Mines, Government of India, NALCO and CSIR.

The pilot plant was inaugurated by Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO in presence of Dr. Ramanuj Narayan, Director, CSIR-IMMT and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT on 18 August 2026. Principal Investigators from CSIR-IMMT (Dr. Kali Sanjay) and KIIT (Dr. Suraj Tripathy) along with many senior technical members from all the three partner organisations and media was also present during the event.

KIIT is happy and proud to be the part of the joint initiative towards achieving the nation's self reliance goal in the critical minerals sector.

🌍 Study in the UK Fair 2026 at KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology
The International Relations Office (IRO), KIIT Deemed to be University, successfully organized the Study in the UK Fair 2026, facilitated by the British Council, bringing together 30 leading UK universities under one roof.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 500 students registering and participating enthusiastically. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives, receive personalized counselling, explore scholarship opportunities, understand admission procedures, and gain valuable insights into student life in the United Kingdom.

The fair reflects KIIT's unwavering commitment to providing global learning opportunities and empowering students to pursue international higher education. By connecting students with world-class institutions, KIIT continues to strengthen its internationalization efforts, fostering academic excellence, cross-cultural engagement, and global career pathways.

KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology hosted a Conference on International Exchange with a high-level delegation from the Tottori Prefectural Government, Japan, led by Mr. Toshiki ENDO, Chief Secretary, on 30 July 2026.
The conference marked a significant step toward fostering long-term collaboration in academic and research partnerships, student and faculty exchange programmes, skill development, industry engagement, internships, and global career opportunities.
