On the occasion of , we observed it as Swasthya Satyagraha Diwas and organized a blood donation drive for our doctors. The drive was a display of our sacrifices made during these 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic and condemnation of violence against our colleagues. We also paid tribute to the who have made supreme sacrifices during this pandemic.We request various govts to strictly implement the central protection law for doctors and provide a safe workplace. We also request to create a cadre of Indian Medical Services(IMS) to have better administration.

Swasthya Satyagraha - This Doctors' Day on July 1st, doctors and students of the institute will be donating blood in a display of their sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic and a symbolic protest to condemn violence against doctors.

This is a pan-Indian movement and we extend our support to all National and state medical associations in this regard.

Condemning Violence against doctors, today we participated in the National Protest Day called by various medical associations including FAIMA Doctors Association Indian Medical association, Junior Doctor Associations(JDA) and Resident Doctors' Associations(RDA). The agenda was to condemn any form of violence against doctors and demand for the strict implementation of a central law for protection of doctors.

Letter of condolence to the bereaved family of Dr Susanta Panda, Medicine specialist, ICU in-charge of COVID hospital, Puri. Salute him for his supreme sacrifice while serving during this pandemic.

Sir, It is very disheartening to see such posts when all the doctors of are working tirelessly during this and providing dedicated patient care. We had shown our ability during the 1st wave of COVID & the same continues now.

The protocol of managing COVID patients is one of the robust in the country and consists of skilled pool of specialists from all fields.All are engaged in fighting this situation, although it's sad fact that all patients can't be saved as we are humans too.

When on one side all the govts are fighting such a pandemic unitedly, there is a need to fight such misinformation also. We, the resident doctors
, therefore request & to take steps to stop the spread of such misinformation.

We strictly condemn the inhumane attack on a lady doctor of GTB hospital in Delhi. We have submitted a condemnation letter to the CM Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal ji & Health Minister Shri Satyendra Jain ji and have requested for additional security measures.

Concerns regarding the prevalence of VIP Culture during this pandemic has been submitted to the PMO Office. We stand in solidarity with our brethren and demand facilities for the actual needy.
