A poem dedicated to all the women!
Written and narrated by our founder Mrs. Vandana Aasif, along with Kathachitra inspired scroll painting.
वामा, नारी, स्त्री, कन्या,
मां, बहन, पुत्री, या वन्या,
पंचतत्व में स्वयं को समेटे, सारी ज़िम्मेदारियों को पूर्णता से लपेटे, अग्नि की आंच महसूस की है कभी ?
किसी भी परिस्थिति में ऊर्जा लिए सभी,
जला सकती है, इतनी सक्षम है, किन्तु छोटी सी गलती भी उसके लिए अक्षम है। जल की उछाल वेग धाराओं से भरी, अन्नपूर्णा है, तृप्त कर, करदे सारी धारा हरी,
जननी है, प्रकृति है, पोषित करती सदा
अर्धांगिनी है, मां है, शोषित हो ना कदा !
वायु का बहाव, ओझ है तेज़, जीवनदायिनी जीवन में भर दे संसो के वेग,
थम ना जाए, या ना बने प्रचंडिनी,
सम्मान से सजाना, हर रूप है सदा वंदनीय,
धरती सी शील ही, सदा ही रही है सहती, तभी तोह सदा जीवन की धारा है बहती! धारा सी, वसुंधरा सी, रही सदा क़दमों तले,
किन्तु जिसके बिना शायद जीवन एक पल ना चले, आत्मा है, धातु सी अनंत, अजेय व अमर
जन्म भी देती है और साथ भी देती हर डगर
यह नारी है, जो निभ जाएगी, निभा लेगी
काली, चंडी, लक्ष्मी, दुर्गा, सरस्वती, मां, बहन या बेटी
तुम शायद जीवन में बन जाओगे बहुत कुछ,
सफल, संपन्न हो कर शायद नारी को दोगे सम्मान या समझोगे तुच्छ
कभी भूलना नहीं, संसार को दे सको गे धन, श्री, ज्ञान का कण- कण
पर एक नारी की तरह नहीं दे पाओगे आत्मा का उपहार - जीवन।
