The Department of Engineering & Technology (DET), PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal, conducted a 5-Day Internship Programme from 18 May to 22 May 2026 for 30 students of Kamla Nehru Sandipani Girls H.S.S. School, Bhopal. Students received hands-on training in Drone Simulation, 3D Printing, Solar Induction, Computer Aided Design (CAD), IT/ITeS, and Electronics.
During the Valedictory Session organised on 22 May 2026, Dr. Deepak Paliwal, Joint Director, PSSCIVE, Bhopal, appreciated the active participation and enthusiasm of the students throughout the internship programme. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in providing exposure to emerging technologies, innovation, and industry-oriented practical learning in alignment with the objectives of NEP 2020.
Dr. Deepak D. Shudhalwar, Head, Department of Engineering & Technology, encouraged the students to continue developing their technical competencies and practical skills for future career opportunities. He emphasized the role of vocational education and hands-on training in enhancing employability and problem-solving abilities among school students.
Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav, Associate Professor and Programme Coordinator, expressed gratitude to the school authorities, accompanying teachers, and the DET team for their support in the successful conduct of the programme. He motivated the students to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the internship in their academic and professional journeys.

The programme commenced with a pre-test assessment, followed by hands-on activities on Drone Simulation, 3D Printing, Solar Induction, Computer Aided Design, and Electronics, enabling participants to gain practical understanding of advanced and emerging technologies.
The internship programme is being organised under the guidance of Dr. Deepak Paliwal, Joint Director, PSSCIVE, Bhopal and Dr. Deepak D. Shudhalwar, HOD (DET), PSSCIVE, Bhopal. The programme is coordinated by Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav, Associate Professor, DET, PSSCIVE, Bhopal. The team comprising Mr. Siddhant Tiwari, Mr. Saurabh Shukla, Dr. Kavita Kamerikar, and Mr. Virendra Jain from DET is facilitating the internship programme.

PSSCIVE, Bhopal was honoured to host a distinguished team of professionals from the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies for a day-long interaction and discussion on 19 May 2026. The deliberations focused on integrating AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics) job roles into vocational textbooks for Classes 6 to 12, with the objective of aligning school education with the evolving needs of the creative industry.
Following Team Members from IICT, Mumbai participated Mr. Ashish Kulkarni, Founding Director, Dr. Vishwas Deoskar CEO, Mr. Sathish Narayanan- Director Academics, Mr. Rishi Khemka, Mr. Binish Parikh, Mr. Ameya Munde and Mr. Chinmay Dharmadhikari.

Inaugural Session of PGDVET Contact Mode Programme 2025–26 :
The 15-day Contact Mode Programme of PGDVET Batch 2025–26 commenced at PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (NCERT), Bhopal.
Dr. Deepal Paliwal, Joint Director, delivered the inaugural address highlighting the importance of vocational education and trained vocational teachers under NEP 2020.
Prof. P. Veeraiah shared insights about PSSCIVE and its role in strengthening skill education in India.
Dr. Pravin N. Mahamuni provided an overview of the PGDVET programme and the contact mode schedule.
The programme aims to strengthen vocational pedagogy, competency-based learning, and industry-oriented teacher preparation.

Valedictory Session: Summer Camp (15 May 2026)
The valedictory session of the 10-day Summer Camp on Experiential Learning was organized on
15 May 2026 at PSSCIVE, Bhopal. The Valedictory session commenced with portfolio
evaluation and presentation of activities developed by the participants during the summer camp.
The summary of the summer camp activities was presented by Dr. Vinod Yadav, Program
Coordinator. He informed that during 10 days of the summer camp, the students actively
participated in sessions on Drone Technology, 3D Printing, Green Technology, Smart
Agriculture, Food Technology, BFSI, Hospitality, Apparel, Business Management, and
Entrepreneurship. Dr. V. S. Mehrotra, Professor & Head, DAAH, PSSCIVE, Bhopal, also
addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of soft skills for personal and
professional development.
Dr. Deepak Paliwal, Joint Director, PSSCIVE, Bhopal, addressed the participants and
appreciated the efforts of PSSCIVE in organizing an innovative and skill-oriented programme
for school students. He highlighted that the skills learned during the camp would be useful in
daily life and future careers. He also explained the roles of PSSCIVE in promoting skill
education and informed students about the usefulness of the “My Career Advisor App” in
selecting suitable career options.
Dr. Rakesh Raman, Program Co-Coordinator, facilitated the distribution of the certificates to the
participants of the summer camp.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Anoop Rathore,
Program Co-Coordinator, who acknowledged the support and contributions of faculty members,
coordinators, participating schools, technical staff, and students in making the summer camp
successful.
Students shared their feedbacks and experiences, and appreciated the camp activities, and
highlighted the practical skills gained through hands-on learning and exposure to emerging
technologies.

Glimpses of Day 9 of Summer Camp organised at PSSCIVE, Bhopal
The Day 9 sessions of the Summer Camp focused on developing managerial, entrepreneurial,
and life skills among students through interactive and activity-based learning experiences.
Sessions on Business Management, including Retail and Office Management, were
conducted by Prof. P. Veeraiah and Dr. Ravi Ahuja, providing students with a practical
understanding of business operations, workplace management, customer handling, and retail
practices.
Prof. Shailja Dixit conducted engaging sessions on Leadership, Communication Skills, Life
Skills, and Entrepreneurship Management, motivating students to enhance their confidence,
teamwork, decision-making abilities, and entrepreneurial mindset for future career
opportunities.

‘भारतीय भाषा समर कैंप 2026’ कार्यक्रम का पीएसएससीआईवीई में सीधा प्रसारण - राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप बहुभाषिकता, मातृभाषा आधारित शिक्षा एवं भारतीय भाषाओं के संवर्धन पर दिया गया विशेष बल
पंडित सुंदरलाल शर्मा केंद्रीय व्यावसायिक शिक्षा संस्थान (पीएसएससीआईवीई), भोपाल में 13 मई 2026 को एनसीईआरटी द्वारा आयोजित “भारतीय भाषा समर कैंप” शुभारंभ कार्यक्रम का लाइव प्रसारण उत्साहपूर्वक देखा गया। इस अवसर पर संस्थान के अधिकारियों, संकाय सदस्यों एवं कर्मचारियों ने सहभागिता करते हुए बहुभाषिकता, मातृभाषा आधारित शिक्षा तथा भारतीय भाषाओं के संवर्धन से जुड़े विचारों को आत्मसात किया।
कार्यक्रम में शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के स्कूल शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग के सचिव श्री संजय कुमार (आईएएस) ने राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप बहुभाषिक शिक्षा के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। वहीं, भारतीय भाषा समिति के अध्यक्ष पद्मश्री श्री चामू कृष्ण शास्त्री ने भारतीय भाषाओं को देश की सांस्कृतिक शक्ति बताते हुए विद्यार्थियों को अधिकाधिक भारतीय भाषाएँ सीखने के लिए प्रेरित किया। एनसीईआरटी के निदेशक प्रो. दिनेश प्रसाद सकलानी ने भाषा को संस्कृति, ज्ञान और सामाजिक जुड़ाव का आधार बताते हुए भारतीय भाषाओं के संरक्षण एवं व्यवहारिक उपयोग पर बल दिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्रालय के स्कूल शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग की संयुक्त सचिव सुश्री प्राची पांडेय द्वारा धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया गया।
लाइव प्रसारण के दौरान प्रतिभागियों ने भारतीय भाषाओं से संबंधित विविध गतिविधियों, संवादों एवं प्रस्तुतियों को रुचिपूर्वक देखा। यह कार्यक्रम भारतीय भाषाओं, संस्कृति एवं ज्ञान परंपरा के प्रति सम्मान और जुड़ाव को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में प्रेरणादायी पहल सिद्ध हुआ।
