National Librarians Day – Celebrating the Power of Books

On National Librarians Day, our Wall of Words paid tribute to the visionary Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, whose pioneering ideas transformed the world of libraries and reading in India. His timeless thought, “Books are for use,” reminded us that books are not merely meant to be collected, but to be explored, shared, and used as a gateway to knowledge.

Through this tribute, we celebrated Dr. Ranganathan’s remarkable contribution to libraries and his vision of creating a culture where every learner had access to books and the joy of reading. His legacy continued to inspire young readers to discover, learn, and grow through the world of books.

✨ What happens when little hearts meet new friends? 💛

Today, our children stepped out of the classroom and into a beautiful lesson on friendship, kindness, and sharing. 🤝🌈

Through games, laughter, conversations, and joyful moments at the Jyoti Old Age Home they discovered that friendship knows no boundaries. Every smile exchanged and every new connection made turned this visit into a memory to cherish. ✨

Because some of the most meaningful lessons aren't found in books—they're found in the hearts we touch. 💫

🥗 Healthy and Tasty Day in Junior KG! 🥕🍅🥒

Our little chefs brought a variety of fresh vegetables and seasonings from home as part of the "Healthy and Tasty" chapter. With great excitement, they observed the vegetables being washed and cut, then mixed them together to create a colorful and delicious salad. This hands-on activity helped children learn about healthy eating, teamwork, and the joy of preparing nutritious food. A fun-filled day full of learning, sharing, and yummy smiles! 😊

🇮🇳 Celebrating Freedom, Honouring the Past, Shaping the Future 🇮🇳

Our Independence Day celebration began on a truly inspiring note, with a soulful patriotic song setting the tone for a morning filled with pride, gratitude and hope.

The celebration came alive with a powerful patriotic dance-cum-drama, as our students brought the stories of India’s freedom struggle to life. Dressed as iconic freedom fighters and Bharat Mata, they portrayed the spirit of courage, sacrifice and unity, beautifully interwoven with vibrant dance performances.

The celebration then moved from remembering our past to reflecting on our responsibility towards the future. In his address, our Principal, Ashish Bhatnagar, shared his self-composed poem, “Ab Humari Bari Hai”, a powerful reflection on independence and the responsibility we carry towards shaping India’s future. His words reminded every student that the freedom we cherish today comes with the responsibility to protect, value and carry it forward.

The event concluded with a meaningful pledge for a Drug-Free India, inspiring our students to make conscious choices and contribute towards building a healthier, stronger and more responsible nation.

✨ Freedom is not merely a legacy we inherit—it is a responsibility we carry forward.

Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
