Mr. Arya Vedabrata, , IT, 1999-2003 batch, Co-Founder & CEO - Byteiq Analytics, Co-Founder Mindgraph Technologies, interacted with CSE, IT, MCA 2021,2019 batch students. Mr. Arya has worked for a wide range of companies, including Citibank, Bank of America, DBS Bank, Qualcomm, and others. He started his career in a Tier-2 city, Bhubaneswar, but has established himself all over the world, with clients in the United States, Europe, Malaysia, and India.

NIST organised a on Energy Sustainability and Society in collaboration with Indian Energy Congress on 10th Dec. 2022. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Sukant K. Mohapatra, Chairman of NIST. Dr. Mohapatra and Dr. Pravakar Swain, President, IEC welcomed the experts and guests to this august event. The conference's chief guest was Sri. Bishnupada Sethi, IAS, Chairman of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited while Executive Director, OPTCL Shri. Biswaranjan Mishra, Former Director General, CPRI Banglore Dr. Ashok Kumar tripathy, Dr. Priyabrata Pattnaik and IEC Vice president Dr. Pravat Kumar Parhi graced the event. A prelude music was performed by NIST musical club, and 50 students participated in in 4 sessions. At the end, the valedictory address was given by Dr. Mohapatra, and the vote of thanks was addressed by Principal, Dr. Priyadarshi Tripathy (Piyu Tripathy). The ceremony was well-coordinated by Dr. Sachidananda Prasad, HoD, EEE & Dr. Dr. Sandipan Mallik.

Mr. Acharya is having 15 years of rich experience spanning across data architecture, solution architecture, technical architecture, design and implementation in Data analytics.

NIST is pleased to announce the with Mr. Rakesh Roshan Acharya, Alumnus, 2003-07 Batch, currently working as an Enterprise Data Architect at Maersk, which will focus on how to prepare for the necessary skills as per emerging trends in industry. This event will be a great opportunity for students to become aware of the current trends and how to stay ahead of the curve. Mr. Acharya is having 15 years of rich experience spanning across data architecture, solution architecture, technical architecture, design and implementation in Data analytics and he will share his expertise and knowledge in this engaging talk. He will also be available for Q&A after his talk, giving students a chance to have their queries.

TEAM NSS NIST organised an extensive today to promote the importance of and on the campus. The volunteers gathered at the campus entrance at 7 o'clock in the morning and then proceeded to clean the entire campus. All the NSS volunteers were seen cleaning the walkways and removing litter from the grassy areas.
