Inter-House Debate Competition β 7th August 2026
J. S. International School successfully organised an Inter-House Debate Competition on 7th August 2026, featuring separate competitions for the Junior and Senior Sections. The event provided students with an excellent platform to express their ideas, develop confidence, improve public speaking skills, and engage in healthy intellectual discussion.
Junior Section
Topic: βAre Marks the Best Way to Judge a Student?β
The debate witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Junior Section. Students presented thoughtful arguments on whether academic marks alone can truly measure a student's abilities, creativity, knowledge, and overall development.

Senior Section
Topic: βShould English Be the Medium of Education?β
The Senior Section presented a highly engaging and thought-provoking debate. Students confidently discussed the importance of English in modern education while also considering the value of mother-tongue-based learning.
π Winner: Yellow House
The competition showcased the students' confidence, communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to present arguments effectively. Heartiest congratulations to the winning houses and appreciation to all the participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
