It's a proud moment for Gitians as KLS GIT bags first prize worldwide in IAM3D competition organised by ASME 💯

The objective of the competition was to design, test, and manufacture a “D.I.R.T.”-GBRCV (Design, Integration,
Research, and Test – Ground Based Remote Controlled Vehicle) using additive manufacturing
and an iterative design proces.

Team ASME KLS GIT congratulates all the team members of IAM3D who dedicated themselves for the competition.

ASME KLS GIT thanks our principal, HOD mechanical, faculty advisor and all the professors who guided the team throughout the competition.

We also thank the organisers of asme efest for such a wonderful experience.

ASME Student Section KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, with the approval of ASME Student Section Advisor, HOD Mechanical Department & Principal KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, organized 'ASME AUTOMATHON’ on 27th of November 2021.

ASME AUTOMATHON included an expert talk by Mr. Pradeep Mirji, Senior Engineering Manager, Meritor CVS India Pvt. Ltd.

Followed by the talk was a robotics competition where students had to construct a robot to tackle complex obstacles using engineering principles.
