🚫💊 **Drug Abuse Prevention Awareness Programme** 💊🚫

S.S.S. Samiti's **Jagadish A. Savadatti PU College of Commerce**, in association with the **Belagavi City Police**, organized a **Drug Abuse Prevention Awareness Programme** to educate students about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.

The awareness session was conducted by **Shri Prakash Gandavagol**, PSI, Market Police Station; **Dr. K. S. Dindalkumpi**, CHC, Mal Maruti Police Station; and **Shri Manjunath Maikar**, CPC, Mal Maruti Police Station. The resource persons highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse, encouraged students to make responsible choices, and motivated them to contribute towards building a drug-free society.

The programme was organized under the guidance of **Principal Shri V. B. Turamari**. **Principal Shri Ravi Dandagi** and **Vice Principal Dr. Bharat Alsandi** of Mahaveer P. Mirji College of Commerce were also present and appreciated the initiative.

Students and staff enthusiastically participated in the programme, making it a meaningful step towards spreading awareness and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

🌍 **International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking** 🚫💊

S.S.S. Samiti's **Jagadish A. Savadatti PU College of Commerce** observed the **International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking** on **29th June** under the **Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan**.

The programme commenced with a welcome song, followed by the **Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge** administered by Principal **Shri V. B. Turamari**. Students delivered insightful speeches emphasizing the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal encouraged students to spread awareness, make responsible choices, and contribute towards building a drug-free society.
