Imagine this—a parent requests a school to allow their Class 7 child to get a tattoo.

It’s not just surprising; it raises serious concerns about judgment. At eleven or twelve, a child is still exploring identity and cannot fully understand the permanence of such a decision. While tattoos may represent self-expression today, parenting is about guidance and boundaries—not unchecked freedom.

Schools uphold discipline and values. Requests like these don’t reflect modern thinking; they reflect a lack of responsibility.

Freedom without maturity is not empowerment—it is negligence.
Some decisions are simply meant to wait.

Imagine this…
A parent writes to a school… requesting permission…
for their Class 7 child to get a tattoo.

Yes. You heard that right.

Now the question is not just ‘What kind of request is this?’
The real question is—
Are we moving too fast as a society?

Schools are not merely academic institutions; they are spaces that cultivate discipline, structure, and values. When parents begin to challenge these boundaries with such unreasonable requests, it places institutions in an unnecessary dilemma.

This is not about being conservative or resistant to change. It is about recognising that maturity must precede permanence. Freedom without guidance is not empowerment—it is negligence.

Some choices are meant for a later stage in life. And it is the responsibility of adults to ensure that children reach that stage with clarity, not confusion.

Marks are not the full story of intelligence.

A student may score high and still struggle to truly understand.
Another may score lower yet possess deep clarity of thought.

Marks often measure memory for a moment,
but true understanding builds wisdom for a lifetime.

As educators and learners, we must remember—
numbers on a report card cannot define curiosity, depth, or potential.

Learning is far greater than results.

Let us teach students to seek understanding, not just scores.

Feminism is often misunderstood.

It is not about competing with men.
It is about recognising that intelligence, ideas, and potential belong to everyone.

Classrooms become powerful spaces when respect and equality guide the conversation.

Happy Women’s Day. 🌸

Respect is not a grand gesture.
It is built in everyday interactions — in classrooms, friendships, and conversations.

When young minds learn empathy and respect early, society becomes stronger.

Happy International Women’s Day. 🌸

Sometimes the hardest part of writing is starting.

When your mind goes blank, begin with one simple line.
That first sentence often unlocks the rest of your answer.

Start small. Clarity grows from there. 🌿
