It highlights the importance of medical professionals in maintaining public health and encourages communities to support and appreciate their efforts.Bidhan Chandra Roy played a pivotal role in establishing institutions such as the Indian Medical Association and the Medical Council of India. Dr. Roy's dedication to the medical profession and his work in public health earned him the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in 1961.
DAV Public School, Barrackpore, celebrates Doctor's Day with a variety of activities aimed at honouring the legacy of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and other eminent medical professionals . It also educates the students about the importance of healthcare.

students of DAV Public School Barrackpore left a lasting impression of their intellect and ingenuity for technology on TECH QUIZ under the event INGENIUM, organized by Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Gurunanak Institute of Technology. They bagged the 2nd and 3rd positions in this inter-institutional Quiz competition. Their participation serves as an inspiration for others, reaffirming the school's commitment to excellence and shaping the leaders of tomorrow in the ever-evolving world of technology.
