*Foundation Stone Laid for New Building at MS Bhat Mohalla Bandi Payeen by Hon’ble MLA Javid Hassan Beigh*

The foundation stone of the new building of Government Middle School Bhat Mohalla, Bandi Payeen, Zone Chandosa, District Baramulla was laid today by *Hon’ble MLA Javid Hassan Beigh* in a well-attended ceremony.

The programme was graced by *District Education Planning Officer, Baramulla Mr. Tariq Ahmad*, *Executive Engineer R&B Mr. Syed Younis*, *AEE R&B Mr. Mubashir Ahmad*, and *Zonal Education Officer Chandosa Ms. Harmeet Kour*.

Also present were *Incharge HoI MS Sofi Mohalla Bandi Payeen Mr. Ghulam Nabi*, *Incharge HoI MS Hajam Mohalla Bandi Payeen Mr. Bilal Ahmad*, *Namaberdar Mohammad Maqbool Wani*, and other respected residents of village Bandi Payeen.

The anchoring role was performed by *Tr. Bilal Ahmad Sofi* and *Tr. Parvaiz Ahmad Sofi*.

The programme commenced with _Tilawat-e-Quran_, followed by _Naat-e-Sharif_. The speakers included *Tr. Maqsood Najar* who presented the Welcome Note, *Namaberdar Mohammad Maqbool Wani*, *DEPO Baramulla Mr. Tariq Ahmad*, and *Hon’ble MLA Javid Hassan Beigh*.

Hon’ble MLA Javid Hassan Beigh, in his address, assured full support for the timely completion of the school building and stressed the importance of quality education and infrastructure in rural areas. DEPO Tariq Ahmad highlighted ongoing efforts of the Education Department for upgrading schools in Zone Chandosa.

The *Vote of Thanks* was presented by *Tr. Mehraj-ud-din Sofi*.

The local community of Bandi Payeen expressed gratitude to Hon’ble MLA Javid Hassan Beigh and the Education Department for this long-awaited development, which will benefit hundreds of students of the area.

Pre Eid celebrations at *GMS Bhat Muhalla Bandi Payeen*
Today as on 29/3/2025 the school hosted Pre Eid celebrations. Students took part in different items and performed on some traditional songs. The event was filled with enthusiasm and spirit of togetherness. The students and teachers highlighted the significance of Eid through speeches.The key highlight was the cultural presentation made by the students.
Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad wani,Mr. Maqsood Ahmad Najar and Javid Ahmad Rather spoke on the occassion and emphasized on the real spirit of the Eid.

Today as on 5th September 2024 *Bhat Mohalla Bandi Payeen,zone Chandoosa* celebrates Teachers' Day with great zeal and respect, honoring the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students and the community. The event saw active participation from students, staff, , who gathered to express their gratitude and admiration for the teaching staff.

The highlight of the event was the prestigious *"Teacher of the Year" award*, presented to *Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Rather*, in recognition of his outstanding dedication and significant contributions to the school. Mr. Rather has been instrumental in motivating students to excel both academically and personally, making him a beloved figure in the school and local community.

The celebration featured a series of cultural performances, including poems, speeches, and songs performed by students, all paying tribute to their teachers' hard work and dedication. The Headmaster of the school lauded the efforts of all teachers, emphasizing the critical role they play in the holistic development of students and in building a bright future for society.

Today "Celebration of Cooking Day" was organised at GMS Bhat Mohalla. This mouthwatering event promised to be a feast for the senses, bringing together the cooking talents of our talented students.

The event featured various groups, each named after a delectable dishes .like Group Hirassa, Group Biryani, Group Yakhni, Group chicken curry, Group Mutter paneer,Group Mutton Methi, Group Paneer

Throughout the day, students were engaged in a range of activities, including cooking demonstrations, recipe sharing, and even a friendly cooking competition. Our budding chefs were whip up their signature dishes, tantalizing everyone's taste buds with their culinary creations.

Principal Model Higher Secondary Chandoosa Mr. Abdul Ahad, Zonal Education officer Chandoosa Mr. Ali Mohammad, teachers, and fellow students joined in the festivities and witness the culinary magic unfold. Prepared to be amazed as our young chefs showcased their skills and passion for cooking.

Today Department of Youth Services And sports organised a Seerat conference at zonal level
In which various schools of the zone have participated.
It is a matter of pride for us and our school that one of our student namely Seerat Yousf has secured the 2nd position in this program in Naat Competition.
