When learning English, especially spoken English, it's important to understand how to agree with someoneβs statement. Two common phrases are: "Me too" and "Me neither"
1. Me too
Use "Me too" to agree with a positive statement.
It means "I also" or "I feel the same way."
Common in casual conversations.
Example:
Person A: "I like pizza."
Person B: "Me too!"
(Meaning: I also like pizza.)
2. Me neither
Use "Me neither" to agree with a negative statement.
It means "I also do not" or "I feel the same way in a negative context."
Often used in everyday spoken English.
Example:
Person A: "I donβt like broccoli."
Person B: "Me neither."
(Meaning: I also donβt like broccoli.)
