Christs Anonymous - The Thirteenth Step

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟖: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑬𝒈𝒐

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟏𝟑

When we at long last came to Christs Anonymous, the path opened up to our true Self, our Spirit, and we became able to let go of our addiction to our thinking mind, our Ego, from which most of our existential problems stemmed.

We had confused our thinking mind, our Ego, with our true Self, our Spirit, and therefore we expected our Ego to be omniscient, so it came as a shock to us that our Ego is a form identity that contains many thought forms.

Both our thinking mind, our Ego, and all it’s thought forms are therefore limited, ignorant, powerless, and mortal/changeable, just like all other form identitis are, so it holds many flawed thought forms.

Because we had made our thinking mind, our Ego, into our personal God, it became inflated and out of balance, and we became addicted to our Ego and therefore we made many mistakes in our thinking and the accompanying actions.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟒𝟒

In Christs Anonymous we discovered that the right action is the sweet fruit itself, and therefore we did not expect to achieve other benefits than the joy of our action, when we carried out the right action.

Before we came to Christs Anonymous we had tried to find out what the right action could be by listening to many perspectives from others’ perceptions of the right action.

We had tried to follow suggestions both from family, friends and acquaintances, and sometimes we discovered that it was to our advantage to follow their suggestions, and sometimes we discovered that it was not.

Slowly, it dawned on us that there is no one action that is always the right one under all circumstances, so therefore we began to surrender to choose that action that would rejoice us the most to carry right NOW right HERE.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟑𝟔

Our goal in ChrisAn is to replace our addiction to our thinking mind, our Ego with identification with our true Self, our Spirit and thus to be led to the joy without opposites, which is the happiness we have been searching for.

When we were at war with Reality, it was not possible for us to simultaneously be in oneness with our true Self, our Spirit, and so we gave up our fight against Reality by clearing up our psychological landscape.

We identified the thoughts that opposed Reality, and we used our Sixth Step to pair them with thoughts that accepted reality so they could be transformed into enlightenment and wisdom.

To help ourselves in this work, we used a daily gratitude list, where we made up our mind, hour by hour, what we could be grateful for in the hour that was dwindling if we chose to be grateful.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟏𝟎

Many of us came to Christs Anonymous from other Twelve Step Fellowships, and every time we began our participation in a new Twelve Step Fellowship, we felt that we had come home.

This experience arose from the fact that we had now achieved a Fellowship of like-minded people to help each other find a solution to an existential problem we needed to recover from.

The homecoming we experienced in Christs Anonymous as a homecoming was to our true Self, our Spirit that we felt was the very origin of all our planes of existence, and therefore it was our true home.

We chose to call this homecoming the Small Homecoming, because we call our return to unmanifest Spirit, where we have withdrawn all our projections from manifested creation for, the Great Homecoming.

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟒: 𝑴𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒖𝒔

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟕𝟐

In our Seventh Step in ChrisAn we further developed our awareness of the finer nuances of our psychological landscape by using this Step, when we discovered discomfort in solar plexus.

We further developed our Seventh Step by paying attention to movements in our solar plexus center to find out if it felt a little heavy or slightly uncomfortable.

If that was the case, we used the Short Seventh Step Prayer or the Long Seventh Step Prayer to identify which defect of character was about to rise to the surface, and then we asked our Higher Power to liberate us from it.

When we had done this, we observed that the movements in the solar plexus changed because we had shifted our focus from a defect of character to our Higher Power, and this immediately lead to us feeling brighter and lighter.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟗𝟎

During our upbringing most of us got a clear picture of our parents and other important people in our surroundings believing that it was the right action for us to follow their instructions on how we should think and feel.

Sometimes we thought and felt in line with their thoughts and emotions and at other times contrary to them, and this could make them shame us, so we began to suppress our thoughts and emotions, because we thought we were wrong.

When we thought our thoughts and feelings were not as they should be, we felt guilty and ashamed of them, not knowing that guilt and shame are the deadliest poisons to our onenes with our authentic Self, our Spirit.

When others caught us hiding or denying them, we defended, justified, or rationalized them, without understanding that we had a right to our thoughts and emotions, even though they were different from everyone else’s.

In Step Seven, however, we learned to stop denying, defending, justifying, and rationalizing them, and co-operated with our Higher Power about liberating our inner child from guilt and shame.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟔𝟎

When we reached to our work with Step Five in Christs Anonymous we took stock of what we had achieved by working with the first four Steps in our ChrisAn Program.

In Step Five we investigated how we looked at Step One to Four today compared to how we looked at these four Steps at the time, when we did our formal work with picking up the principles of these Steps.

It came as a surprise to many of us that we have made great progress in our existential understanding and that this progress was much more than we had expected when we began our Step Work.

This progress had fallen into place so naturally that we almost felt we had always known what we now know, so it was important for our motivation to move on with our Step Work to take stock of what we had achieved.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟔𝟑

In Step Six, we became entirely ready to let our Higher Power liberate us from all our defects of character by investigating their impact on our lives by the help of the Rings of Pain.

At the same time, we also investigated how we believed that the situation we described would have unfolded if instead we had used the corrosponsing Ring of Joy from our psychological landscape.

By the help of these investigations of the energy fields in our psychological landscape, gradually, we became entirely ready to let our Higher Power liberate us from all our defects of character in Step Seven.

When our work in Step Six was so far advanced that we felt completely ready to be liberated from all our character defects, we could begin to cooperate with our Higher Power about being liberated from them in the NOW in Step Seven.

Before we came to Christs Anonymous our thinking mind, our Ego had been lacking conscious guidance, so the maelstrom of thoughts that were passing through our mind carried us with it, whether it was to our advantage or not.

After we came to Christs Anonymous and began to liberate ourselves from getting carried away by the maelstrom of thoughts that were passing through us, we became able to be with our next Higher Plane of Existence, our Soul plane.

Our Soul is loving, caring, compassionate and merciful, and from this plane in our consciousness, we took a stand on our thoughts and selected with care those thoughts that brought us joy, whenever it was possible for us to do so.

From our Soul we also took care of those thoughts that brought us pain by transforming them to enlightenment and wisdom by pairing them with those that brought us joy.

Most of us had a deep desire to be one with the Light of Love in our true Self, our Spirit, and we had an inner knowledge that the Light of Love burned brightly and effortlessly when we interacted with our Spirit Mate.

Therefore, we believed that meeting our Spirit Mate would solve all of our existential problems, so it came as a complete surprise to us that meeting our Spirit Mate caused incredible mental-emotional pain.

The pain arose from the fear of losing him/her again, and we knew that the fear arose from our thinking mind, our Ego, which sent us into Purgatory, where we were purified from our fear of love.

Our stay in Purgatory we also called, our stay in the duality of the Magic Forest of Dancing Demons and Peacocks, which is a symbol of the interaction between the pain and joy in our thinking mind, our Ego
