To keep the domain of science and humanities and relate these two entities meaningfully, “Scientia” was established as a forum in 1990. This was intended to keep the spirit of science and humanities alive among the students community. The “Scientia” forum has put in sustained efforts for the last 15 years, to conduct various activites and competitions within the college and also co-ordinate the participation of students in various science / humanities related inter-collegiate competitions, programmes, seminars etc. It is believed that such exercises develop a lot of multifaceted skills in the student participants and stimulate their learning process. The sports department plays an active role in channelizing the students energy. The department gives equal attention to all sports like cricket, football, volleyball, baskeball & throwball. Swan is an initiative of the college to sensitizw young minds to the environmnetal and natural conservatives issues. This is oflate has become so critically important for the survival of human race. Through regular interactions with the consservationist and ecologisticaly,students are exposed to such issues as the extinction of tigers,receding of Himalayan glaciers and increase in global temperature etc.,In addition to several activaites like photography exhibition etc., Students are taken to nature treks trials,camps and bird watching expeditions


Career Guidance and Placement

A full fledged office has been established to offer support to students by the way of career counseling and placements. This office proposes to interface academics with industry. The students of final degree classes are groomed in various soft skills including interview skills. Towards the end of the year campus Recruitment Programmes are arranged to assist students in finding placements.
